Maider Avila is a website made to showcase the personal image of an animation scriptwriter. In order to create it, I first had to nail down all the visual aspects of her brand, from colours to the logo and image she wanted to evoke.
The website has different sections. Some are for her own content, such as her portfolio or film reviews; others for visitors to interact with her, such as leaving comments for her to read or voting on the next review.
The IM Fell DW Pica font used for the headers was chosen to remind the reader of old book typography, and therefore link it to folklore or fairytales, serving as the precursor to children’s animation. This is combined with the Raleway font, which is simple and easily readable.
Everything about the site was decided alongside the author, from the «about me» to all the text in each section. If you want to see it for yourself, you can visit it here. I hope you like it!
